About the company

Wave Creative exists to fix one thing: good businesses that not enough people have heard of. We make the films, photography and campaigns that put them in front of the customers they want.

Who runs it

Agustin
Romero.

Wave Creative is run by Agustin Romero, a film and television graduate from Bond University on the Gold Coast, now based in Toowoomba.

The company started from a pattern he kept seeing: businesses doing genuinely good work that almost nobody outside their existing customers knew about. Their advertising either did not exist, or it looked like everyone else’s. Neither wins new work.

So the job here is not simply to hand over nice footage. It is to make the thing that gets a business noticed, and then to put it where the right people will actually see it — with the same person on the phone, on the shoot, in the edit and on the campaign.

That has meant working with names like Mort & Co, FKG Group, LifeFlight, Mazda, Colliers, Fitzy’s and IOR, as well as a long list of family businesses, tradespeople and charities who needed the same care at a smaller scale.

What we believe

One point of contact

The person who quotes the job is the person who shoots it and cuts it. Nothing gets lost in a handover, and you never have to explain your business twice.

A fixed price, first

Scope and cost in writing before anything is booked. If the job changes, we talk about it before the invoice does.

Made to be used

Every file is delivered in the sizes you will actually publish — web, feed, vertical, print — not one master you then have to pay someone else to cut up.

In the field

How the work
gets made.

On the camera

Stills and video on the same body, so a shoot day can deliver both.

In the edit

Cut, graded and delivered here — not handed off to someone you never meet.

On the road

Toowoomba, Brisbane, the Gold Coast — most of the week is spent getting there.

The equipment question

Gear matters
least.

We shoot and deliver in 4K, with drone coverage, proper lighting and audio recorded properly rather than off the camera — and none of that, on its own, is what makes a video work.

What makes the difference is turning up early, understanding what the business does before the camera comes out, and knowing which three shots actually carry the story. The kit list is available if you want it. It is rarely the reason a video works.

Let’s make
somethingworth watching.
